About Us
Friends of Animals in Need is an organization that is there to help keep pets with their people in their time of need. A source of love, comfort and support, pets are an important part of people’s lives. Friends tries to help keep it that way. These times have never been more challenging for so many. It is Friends of Animals in Need’s mission to provide financial assistance for veterinary care to financially-challenged pet owners, in order to avoid the surrender, abandonment or euthanizing of their beloved pet.
Based in North Kingstown, Rhode Island, Friends of Animals in Need has assisted pet owners from Westerly to Woonsocket over the last fifteen years. Friends is an all-volunteer organization with no paid staff or overhead. We rely on the generosity and support of those that understand the importance of pets in peoples’ lives to help fund the veterinary care needed to keep beloved pets and their people together.
